Witches Abroad

You can take the witches out of Lancre but can't take Lancre out of the witches. Find out the truth about Stories in this battle of godmothers, meet a sleeping beauty, learn what happens when a farm house falls on a witch with red shoes, witness the fate of characters when they take a wrong turn out of Middle Earth, sit enthralled as you find out what may have happened if Cinderella had turned out to be the daughter of a Voodoo 'witch'.

Any reader of folktales, faerie stories, and fantasy will be tickled with this book. Items are plucked from books, movies based on the books, and the 'Magic Kindom' many of these stories were imprisoned in left and right, set up like old tin cans to be shot down one by one with Pratchett's perfect aim. For me, an interesting aspect of this book was the style it was written, it reads in many ways like the faery tales it takes on. It may be trite to say, but I found this book simply a marvel.
