The Light Fantastic

As it moves towards a seemingly inevitable collision with a malevolent red star, the Discworld has only one possible saviour. Unfortunately, this happens to be the singularly inept and cowardly wizard called Rincewind, who was last seen falling over the edge of the world.
[from the Corgi paperback cover]

Picks up where Colour of Magic left off. Offers the first introduction of Cohen, the barbarian, and how he got his amazing teeth.
The first Discworld book I read, the cover art got my attention, but the editors note on the back (since removed) convinced me to buy it: "funniest thing since the bible".
