Who is OzNan?
OzNan

Why OzNan?

Oz:  I'm proudly Australian. Aussie flag

Nan: I'm just as proudly a Nanna, or Grandma, of eight wonderful grandchildren.

Who's important to me?

My family: husband, children, grandchildren,
and my extended family - brothers and sisters all over Australia, cousins, nieces, nephews, great neices and nephews and great-greats!

My dogs: Jet, the Tenterfield Terrier Jet

and Flossie, the Jack Russell Terrier

My Christian family, especially those who belong to St. Philip's Uniting Church.

My internet friends: Wattle Women, Tenterfield Terrier Group, and others I've met through other groups, chat rooms, surfing the net and those who have emailed me through genealogy research or who have signed my various guestbooks.

What do I value most?

My faith in Jesus Christ, which has been developing for over 60 years and has kept me strong through many of life's difficult patches.  (My favourite Bible verse is Philippians 4: 13)

Relationships with family and friends.

The respect of people I work with in the church and other places.

Good health and fitness, both of which must be constantly monitored and worked at - and never taken for granted.

Precious opportunities for travel world-wide.  There have already been a few and I hope many more in the future.

A sense of humour (Mine's a bit 'whacky' at times - comes from being an early childhood educator and mixing with young children for many years).

My hobbies and interests.

Reading and Bible study - many different kinds of books - science fiction, mystery, historical, Christian.

Genealogy research

Painting and drawing

Communicating with friends via the internet.  Participating in the activities of internet groups.

Travelling.

Caring for my grandchildren - and other small children occasionally.

Just thinking - about all kinds of things.  There's not enough of this done.  I'm a 'dreamer' and a 'visionary'.

Collecting little ducks.
