Hi, Coaches. I am hoping to continue to run the On
Line Web Site for the all the teams in the San Diego City
Schools Golf Conference, again this year.
On this Web Site I will post:
1.
All of the scores of
each match, for each team.
2.
Your overall and
league records.
3.
Team Average Scores
4.
Team Differential
Average.
5.
Player’s Last Posted Score and Player’s Average
Score.
6.
Player’s Average Differential Score.
7.
The number of matches
each player has played.
By keeping and posting these
records, anyone who wants to know how any team or individual is doing throughout
the season, can just access the web site. It will act as the Official Record for
scores needed by League Representatives at the Conference Qualifying Seeding
Meeting, and the CIF Team and Individual Seeding Meeting.
Remember that all scores, for all individuals, must be reported
and posted, to acquire a legitimate Differential Score for submission
to the Seeding Committees, and a player must have posted 10 scores. I
will run a spreadsheet on each team to verify what is being posted. These
are available to any coach, at any time, and will be made available to League
Reps prior to the Seeding Meetings, if
requested.
What I will need from each
coach:
1.
A complete Roster
of your team, and Schedule of matches.
2.
Team photos and/or coach’ s photo, if
you want them put on your web page. You can E-Mail me an image or jpeg photo,
or just mail a photo.
3.
Home course, and its 9-hole rating.
Following each match: (Log onto the web site, type in the information in
the E-Mail section provided, and click submit.)
1.
An E-Mail, or FAX from
both coaches, or a designated person, reporting;
a. The name of the Team Reporting, and the name of
the Opponent
b. Course Played,
c. Course Rating,
d. Both team scores.
e. The score shot by each person on your team
in the match.
f.
Whether this was an “A
Team” or “B TEAM” Match.
2.
Remember that to qualify
for the City Conference CIF Qualifying and CIF Team and Individual Tournaments,
a player must have minimum of 10 scores from Varsity Matches. “A Teams” and “B Teams” are considered
Varsity. JV Matches cannot be counted
as part of the 10 scores. “B Team”
Matches will not be used in determining overall or league records.
